Privacy Policy

Introduction

Matters ("we", "our", or "us") is built by Kahium. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our iOS application. We believe in radical simplicity — in the app and in how we treat your data.

Information We Collect

Matters is designed to collect as little data as possible.

• Your tasks — All tasks you create are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to any server. Tasks are automatically deleted at midnight each day as part of the app's daily reset feature.
• Trial information — Your free trial end date is stored securely in your device's Keychain. This data never leaves your device.
• Subscription data — If you subscribe, your subscription state and purchase receipts are processed by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. This is necessary to verify and manage your subscription status across app reinstalls.

What We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not do:

• We do not use any analytics SDKs or tracking frameworks
• We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers
• We do not create user accounts or require login
• We do not serve advertisements
• We do not sell, share, or rent any personal information to third parties
• We do not use the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because we do not track you

Third-Party Services

Matters integrates one third-party service:

• RevenueCat — Used solely for subscription management and in-app purchase receipt validation. RevenueCat processes your Apple purchase receipts to verify subscription status. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

App Store Privacy Label

Our App Store privacy label reflects our practices: "Data Not Linked to You". The only data category that applies is purchase data processed by RevenueCat for subscription management, and this data is not linked to your identity.

Data Storage and Retention

All task data is stored exclusively on your device and is automatically cleared daily at midnight. Trial dates are stored in the device Keychain and persist across reinstalls to prevent trial abuse. Subscription data managed by RevenueCat is retained according to their data retention policies.

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored task data. Keychain data (trial end date) persists until you reset your device or manually clear it.

Your Rights

Since we store virtually no personal data on our servers, most data rights are exercised directly on your device. You can:

• Delete all task data by simply uninstalling the app
• Request information about any data we process by contacting us
• Request deletion of any data associated with your subscription by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Matters is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app contains no user-generated content sharing, no social features, and no web access. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if our data practices change. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
